Oundle is a small East Midlands market town with about 4,600 inhabitants,situated in the valley of the River Nene, between Peterborough and Northampton. Oundle hosts a large PublicSchool, which offers many facilities to the local populace and gives the town a special character. Nene Valley is the third Probus Club to be established in Oundle and the surrounding area. We have a membership of 40 (our limit). We usually meet on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesdays of the month at the Oundle Golf Club. One Tuesday we meet for a lecture and lunch, on the other Tuesday we meet for Coffee and Business. Meetings are at 10.30 am for a 10.45 am start.We welcome visitors from other Probus Clubs to our Luncheon Meetings, but must insist that places are reserved by contacting us by e-mail by clicking on 'information' below, by the Saturday preceding a luncheon, at the latest.

 

The Nene Valley Probus Club is for gentlemen who have retired or are about to retire from PROfessional or BUSiness occupations. We aim to promote friendship and fellowship amongst members, and activities for their mutual benefit. We do not raise money for Charities. We exist solely to enjoy ourselves.
